Booking/Pre-order Cancellation, Authorization, Penalty, Return & Refund Policy

Pre-Order Booking of Vehicle

1. Auction Security Deposit: Tk.1.00 lac (Taka One Lac) required before Auction Bidding.
   • Auction security amount may vary due to vehicle price and exclusiveness:
     • One Lakh Taka for cars up to 25 Lakhs
     • Two Lakhs Taka for cars up to 50 Lakhs
     • Five Lakhs Taka for cars up to 1 crore
     • Ten Lakhs Taka for cars more than 1 crore
2. Bidding Confirmation: Required from client through official medium.
3. Refund of Auction Security Money: Full reimbursement if the vehicle is not successfully purchased.
4. Forfeiture of Auction Security Amount: If booking is canceled by customer after successful bidding.
5. Phase-wise Payment:
   • Phase 1: Auction Security Deposit Tk.1.00 lac
   • Phase 2: Before LC Opening – Full LC Amount/50% value of the vehicle (whichever is higher)
   • Phase 3: Document Retirement – Document Retirement Value /30% value of the vehicle (whichever is higher)
   • Phase 4: Before BRTA Registration – Residual Amount of the Vehicle or 20% value of the vehicle (if any)
6. Delayed Payment: May cause delayed shipment.
7. Penalty for Payment Default: 0.5% to 1.5% on any payment schedule default.
8. Wharf Rent: Tk.400.00 per day if vehicle is not released after arrival in port.
9. Full Payment: Required before BRTA registration.
10. Cost Variations: Customer to bear any additional costs due to changes in Custom Duty/Tax Structure/Freight Cost/Foreign Currency Exchange Rate, etc.
11. Cancellation or Modification Costs: Customer to bear costs. Al-Jami Motors not liable for any financial loss or delayed delivery due to shipping schedule.

Cancellation Fees for Pre-Ordered Vehicles:

• After Auction Win: 100% of Auction Security Amount.
• After vehicle reaches Japan Yard: Tk.3.00 lac or higher.
• After opening LC: Tk.5.00 lac or higher.

Refunds are made to customer’s designated bank account through Account Payee Cheque/PO/Online Bank Transfer.

Pre-Booking of Vehicle

1. Initial Booking Deposit: Tk.1.00 lac (may vary due to vehicle price and exclusiveness).
2. Payment Before Releasing Vehicle from Port: At least 50% of vehicle value.
3. Full Payment: Before completion of BRTA Registration.
4. Delayed Payment: May cause delayed delivery.
5. Penalty for Payment Default: 0.5% to 1%.
6. Wharf Rent: Tk.400.00 per day if vehicle is not released after arrival in port.
7. Cost Variations: Customer to bear any additional costs.
8. Cancellation or Modification Costs: Customer to bear costs. Al-Jami Motors not liable for any financial loss or delayed delivery due to shipping schedule.

Cancellation Fees for Pre-Booked Vehicles:

• Within 48 hours: 10% of booking amount or Tk.50,000/- (whichever is higher).
• After 48 hours & within 7 days: 20% of booking amount or Tk.85,000/- (whichever is higher).
• After releasing from port: 100% of booking amount or Tk.3.00 lac or higher.
• Due to payment failure: Full amount forfeited.

Refunds are made to customer’s designated bank account through Account Payee Cheque/PO/Online Bank Transfer.

Ready Stock Vehicle in Showroom/Warehouse/Port

1. No Cancellation Fees: If order is canceled within 48 hours.
2. Penalty After 48 Hours: Tk.1.00 lac.
3. Penalty After Releasing Vehicle from Port: Tk.2.00 lac.
4. Forfeiture: Earlier deposited amount forfeited if payment is not made on time.

Auction Sheet Verification Service: Tk.1000.

Delivery & Shipment

• Delivery Locations: Dhaka Office, Chittagong/Mongla Port.
• Servicing: 1 servicing (engine oil change, air filter change).
• Tyre Condition: Customer to bear cost for replacement if required.
• Alloy Rims: As-is condition; additional cost for changes.
• Extra Remote Key & SD Card: Provided if included with car; additional cost if arranged.
• Dent/Paint Work: Customer to bear cost.
• Aftermarket Modifications: Customer to bear cost.

Delivery Time: 50-60 days from auction win date. Al-Jami Motors not liable for shipping delays.

Refund & Penalty Policy

Pre-Order/Auction Bidding Cars:

• Cancellation after Auction Winning: Initial deposit deducted as penalty.
• Cancellation after car reaches port: Initial deposit deducted as penalty.
• Unsuccessful Bids: Full booking money refunded.

Port Ready/Showroom Stock Cars:

• Cancellation within 24 hours: Penalty of 50,000 Taka.
• Cancellation at Port: Penalty of 2 lac Taka or wait until car is sold to another party.
• Full Payment Not Made within 30 Days: Penalty of BDT 2 lac or car sold to another party without refund.
